Recently, a pre-production version of Royal Enfield Bullet Electra 500cc with Fuel Injection technology is tested by a french magazine. The new 500cc engine also comes with an Injected Catalyst to meet euro 3. Royal Enfield has built the engine with the help of experts in countries across the world. Though, the new engine's main architecture is being devoloped in CHENNAI, NVH(NOISE,VIBRATION & HARSHNESS) and Internal Combustion of the engine is tested by European design consultants. While its reliability is tested with the help of Japanese consultants. Royal Enfield's 500cc EFI engine produces 30 BHP. According to the french magazine,the 500cc FI engine rolls up at 110km/h without sustained pressure and capable of reaching 130km/h.
